When it first hit the running market in the 2000s, the GEL-PRELEUS™ sneaker was formed by two designers—one who created the upper and one that constructed the tooling. The upper draws inspiration from the free-flowing movement of the clouds, which is conveyed through the layered mesh and synthetic leather formation that resembles a mid-2000s aesthetic. Its hybrid design language continues onto the midsole, channeling design elements that stem from the nonchalant nature of an amoeba. Additionally, this concept is represented through the wavy aesthetic of the tooling and outsole structure.
